I first met Jori during a Flashes of Hope photo shoot where more than one person told me how much she has dedicated herself to helping others and what an amazing person she is…
Fast forward a year later and another Flashes of Hope shoot with Jori – I was paired with Shea and learned amongst other things, that he and Jori were dating. I thought to myself that these two made a perfect couple and their personalities really complimented one another.
Fast forward another year and I get a call from Jori. Her and Shea were engaged and wanted to do an engagement photography session. I was thrilled that Jori contacted me as she has been around a ton of great Chicago area photographers. When we talked, I wanted to understand more of their story and where we should shoot their session. Jori shared how important Glen Ellyn was to their family, the special role her grandfather played in her life, that Shea was a Glenbard West football coach, and very importantly, how they met – yes, they were fixed up by a few football moms! So, we decided on Lake Ellyn and the Glenbard West football field.
